The ArtSparks program, started in 1995 as part of Harc's Life Enrichment Program, has provided an ongoing, evolving group of artists with the focused time, space and materials to enter the world of personal art creation. Working under the direction of a practicing artist, the group is purposely kept small, and the feeling of the session is warm, friendly and supportive with just the right amount of challenge to spur individual artistic growth. The work has also been used in producing other products such as blank notecards, holiday cards and socks.
